For physicians and providers
A radiation‑free, compression‑free
supplemental imaging option
for your patients
For women with dense breasts, implants, inconclusive findings, elevated risk under 40, or supplemental screening over 40. No formal referral is required, and reports can be delivered directly to your office with the patient's consent.

Native 3D imaging
from nipple to chest wall, read by
a board-certified radiologist
The QT Imaging Breast Acoustic CT scanner produces co-registered volumes of speed of sound, attenuation, and reflection at sub-millimeter resolution, viewable in coronal, axial, and sagittal planes. Software quantifies fibroglandular volume, total breast volume, and fibroglandular ratio for density assessment and monitoring.
The device is FDA 510(k)-cleared as a supplemental screening device for breast imaging, including follow-up of inconclusive findings, and for quantitative breast density assessment. It is not cleared to replace screening mammography, and we do not present it that way to patients.

Clinical advantages
of QTI imaging
QTI is a breakthrough in breast imaging. QT imaging is the only FDA‑cleared device that combines transmission and reflection imaging, using low‑frequency sound waves to image the whole breast safely, from nipple to chest wall. Because the scan is safe to repeat, serial studies allow radiologists to assess change over time, including the growth rate of a lesion.
01
Dense breast tissue
In dense breasts, QTI images visualize ductal and glandular tissue with high accuracy when compared with conventional imaging using X‑ray mammography (XRM) and handheld ultrasound (HHUS).
02
Accuracy compared with XRM
Improved accuracy, sensitivity, and specificity when compared with XRM.
03
Fewer non‑cancer recalls
Improves the non‑cancer recall rate without substantially affecting cancer recall rates.
04
Treatment follow‑up and density
Can follow patients through cancer treatment and provides quantitative breast density measurements, including enhanced volume measurements.
05
Not operator dependent
Image acquisition is not scanner operator dependent, supporting consistent, reproducible studies.
06
Fine detail
A clinical feature detects findings in the 50 to 100 micron range, including microcalcifications.
Supporting clinical references are available on request.
Imaging around implants
Implant‑associated cancers
Because the scan uses transmitted sound with no compression, the tissue surrounding a silicone implant remains readable. In these speed‑of‑sound images, both lobular and ductal carcinomas are clearly visible with the implant in place.

Referring a patient
No formal referral required
Patients can book directly, or your office can contact us to coordinate scheduling and report delivery. Scans are $750 bilateral or $550 unilateral, paid at booking, with a CPT code provided for patients who wish to submit to their insurance, so there is no prior authorization to manage.
If you would like to visit the clinic, see the scanner, or discuss the published research behind QT imaging, we would be happy to answer your questions.
