Proactive before 40
Your breast health
does not start at 40.
Routine screening is built around your 40th birthday. Your body is not. For women under 40, a QTI scan is the modern, proactive way to know your own tissue early, with no radiation, no compression, no heavy metal dye IV injections, and no referral needed.
The generation that
stopped waiting to be told,
and started asking early.
You track your sleep. You know your cycle. You read the label before it goes in your cart. Your generation treats health as something you participate in, not something that happens to you. Yet the one part of your body you are told to wait on is your breast health, because the standard screening tool was never designed for a body your age. Clear was built to close that gap: precise, radiation-free imaging you can begin in your 20s and 30s, on your own terms.

Why it matters
The benefits of a QTI scan
for women under 40
Routine screening mammograms are not currently recommended for women under 40 years old. The reasoning behind this is that the risks of radiation exposure outweigh the potential benefits for these young women. Modern QTI technology can be a much needed benefit as a potential alternative.
Breast cancers that occur in younger women are usually more aggressive, and younger patients suffer from poorer survival outcomes. They are more likely to be found at a later stage, precisely because no one was looking. With this said, why are these women not getting scanned?
These young women now have a choice: to be self-advocates with a precise scan alternative. The QTI scan gives women the choice they deserve to ensure safe breast health.
Why start before 40
- No radiation, so there is nothing to accumulate year after year
- An early baseline of your own healthy tissue to compare against
- Precise 3-D acoustic imaging suited to younger, denser tissue
- A calm, comfortable scan with no compression and no heavy metal dye IV injections
Who we see most under 40
- Women with a family history of breast cancer or a known gene mutation
- Women with dense breast tissue or implants
- Women monitoring a known cyst or fibroadenoma
- Women who simply want to know, on their own terms

The screening gap
Why screening waits,
and why you do not have to
Mammography earns its place in screening from 40 onward, and nothing on this page argues otherwise. But it uses X-rays, and radiation is cumulative over a lifetime. For younger women, decades of exposure would begin before the age when risk typically rises, so the guidelines wait. The result is a gap: the years when breast cancer is rare but often at its most aggressive are also the years with no routine look at all.
A QTI scan fills that gap differently. It uses sound in warm water, so there is nothing to accumulate and nothing to brace for, and it can be repeated as often as you and your physician choose. Younger tissue is also naturally denser, which is exactly where a true 3-D acoustic image, captured from nipple to chest wall, does its best work.
Getting ahead of it early is the modern,
proactive way to advocate for yourself.
What an early baseline gives you

A record of your normal
Your first scan becomes the reference every future scan is compared against, so change is easier to see and easier to trust.

Watchfulness without radiation
Because sound carries no exposure, you can look as often as makes sense for your history, without a lifetime dose adding up.

Peace of mind between visits
Knowing what is there, and what is not, replaces years of wondering with something quieter: confidence.

Being watched for a cyst,
or called back for a second look?

Asked often, answered plainly
Am I too young for a QTI scan?
We scan women 18 and older. Because there is no radiation, age is not the barrier it is with X-ray screening; many younger women come to establish a first baseline, especially with a family history or dense tissue.
Does this replace the mammograms I will have at 40?
No. QTI is FDA-cleared as a supplemental screening tool. When routine mammography begins for you, a QTI scan works alongside it, and the baseline you built earlier travels with you.
Do I need a referral or a doctor's order?
No referral is needed. You can book directly, and with your consent we deliver your radiologist-read report to any physician you choose.
A QTI scan does not replace the routine screening your physician will recommend at 40 and beyond. It gives you a safe, precise way to see your breast tissue clearly in the years before then, and a baseline your future self will thank you for. No referral needed.
