Your visit is focusedon comfort, clarity,
and a report you can trust,
from booking to results.
Most women are surprised by how quick the appointment is. Plan on about an hour at the clinic, with time before the scan to ask anything you want. There are no plates, no radiation, and no heavy metal dye IV injections, and nothing to recover from afterward. Here is everything from booking to receiving your report, so nothing is a surprise.
Your visitIncludes

Nothing to brace for.
Nothing pressing on you.
Nothing to recover from.

Step oneBefore your scan
Book online and pay at scheduling. No referral is needed. Plan on about an hour at the clinic. When you check in, you will complete a short health history and consent form, and your technologist will walk you through the scan and answer questions before anything starts.
Details include:
- Wear a two-piece outfit so you can undress from the waist up only.
- Skip lotions, powders, or deodorant on the chest that morning.
- Bring prior mammogram, ultrasound, or MRI reports, or have them sent to us.
Step twoDuring the scan
You lie face down on a padded table with an opening for one breast at a time. The breast rests, gently stabilized, in a warm water bath while the scanner rotates around it. There is nothing to hold still against and nothing pressing on you. Many women close their eyes and rest.
Details include:
- Roughly 10 to 20 minutes per side, depending on breast size.
- No radiation, no compression, and no heavy metal dye IV injections.
- A private room with your technologist nearby the whole time.

Step threeAfter the scan
Dry off, get dressed, and go about your day. There is no recovery, no residue, and no restriction on activity. If you are planning annual monitoring, this is a good moment to ask about scheduling your next scan.
Details include:
- No downtime and nothing to avoid afterward.
- A warm towel and robe are provided.
- Your next scan can be booked before you leave.
Step fourYour report
Your 3D images are sent to a board-certified radiologist trained in QTI technology. The report is delivered to you securely and promptly, and you can share it with your physician or ask us to send it directly to your provider.
Details include:
- Read by a board-certified radiologist.
- Delivered securely to you, with a copy to your provider on request.
- We do not diagnose or treat. Your healthcare provider guides next steps.
